Job Description
- We are looking to recruit the Head of Project Procurement, based in Cluj.
- The main objective of the role is to coordinate the entire procurement activity and the procurement team for all PV farm construction projects in company’s portfolio.
- Below are some of the most important responsibilities:
- Ensure each project’s procurement requirements for materials, tools & machinery and services are fully satisfied according to the technical requirements, on time and on budget
- Manage the full lifecycle of Material Procurement and Subcontract Procurement Plans, from preliminary estimates and drafts to complete delivery
- Manage procurements’ input to prepare competitive responses to RFQ
- Oversee individual assignments of team’s members and provides guidance in developing and exploiting best sourcing opportunities for each individual project
- Conducts analyses of the market situation and derives appropriate purchasing strategies
- Sources new suppliers in line with project performance requirements for cost, delivery schedule and quality, without any deviation from technical requirements
- Continuous assessment of supplier’s performance to ensure the company is getting value for money
- Foster balanced working relationships with the suppliers, with no compromise on business ethics and legal requirements according to each jurisdiction the company operates in
